GIRLS CLUB
Girls Club meets weekly. The girls that we are currently working with are 6 th, 7 th and 8 th graders; they attend west Modesto schools. These girls are mentored to on a personal basis through our weekly gatherings.
  
Each meeting consists of Bible study, scripture memorization, worship, prayer time and a snack and beverage. Sometimes our meetings consist of an outing to a local drama, concert, movie, swim party, dinner out, hiking or other age appropriate activity. Career speakers and other guests are sometimes invited to share at our meetings. Occasionally, we travel out of town for a special field trip.
  
Special occasions such as graduations, birthdays, Christmas and Easter are celebrated in a big way. Girls Club provides wholesome fun and opportunities to build healthy relationships with adult mentors and peers as well.
  
Please join us in praying for these young ladies to be successful in school and to choose friends wisely. Ask God to give them the strength to turn away from temptation and unhealthy peer pressure. It is our heart’s desire that each of them will choose to make Jesus Lord of their lives.
